Whom We Serve
Nack serves students who need a higher level of care than what a typical university counseling center is structured to provide. We treat undergraduate and postgraduate students between 18 to 30 years old, typically in partnership with their universities.
Our clinical model is specifically designed to treat primary mental health disorders. Although we would like to provide services to all students in need, we care deeply about prioritizing quality of care, which necessitates focused clinical programming.
Treatment Modalities
Nack’s clinical programming is comprised of evidence-based practices in-line with the latest developments in emerging adult mental health care. We believe it is vital to address both the underlying and persisting elements of client diagnoses, as well as facilitating symptom relief.
We use gold-standard treatment modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and experiential therapies. Together, these modalities provide the opportunity for clients to learn and apply new skills and create a community of support.
Sample Group Schedule
IOP programming is available to clients 3-4 days per week (3 days minimum), along with weekly individual therapy sessions and semi-monthly family therapy sessions. Nack’s primary therapists will work with each client at outset of treatment planning to develop a suitable therapy schedule.
Note: Monday-Thursday from 9am-2pm and Friday from 9am-5pm are reserved for individual and family / supportive other therapy sessions to occur.
