Kyle Adams

Founder & CEO

Kyle founded Nack with the mission of serving college students who are experiencing significant mental health challenges like he once did as a student. Before starting Nack, he was the Chief Growth Officer of Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services, an in-network, multi-site provider of residential and intensive outpatient care for adolescents with mental health and substance use disorders. Prior to Muir Wood, Kyle was a healthcare investor at Avesi Partners, where he was the firm’s first employee and helped develop its behavioral health investment theses.


Kyle earned a BA in Philosophy from Wake Forest University, where he served as a member of the Board of Trustees.

Heather Russo, LMFT

Heather has worked with adolescents and young adults struggling with mental health, eating, and substance use disorders for over 18 years. She has been a clinical leader for several large programs, most notably as Chief Clinical Officer of Alsana. Heather has held other leadership roles at Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services, The Renfrew Center, and La Ventana Treatment Programs.

Heather earned an MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, an MS in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University, and a BA in Psychology from California State University, Chico.

Margot Rittenhouse, LPCC

Margot is a Clinical Director responsible for overseeing clinical care, operations, and staff at our DTLA office. Before joining Nack, she was a Director of Clinical Services for Alsana, managing an IOP/PHP facility for adults with eating and mental health disorders. Margot previously worked as Clinical Director at Trellis Recovery Centers for Eating Disorders.


Margot earned an MS in Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Psychology from American University.

Molly is a Senior Primary Therapist responsible for providing group, individual, and family / supportive other therapy to Nack clients at our Westwood office. Before joining Nack, she was a Director of Clinical Services at Alsana, managing a residential treatment center for adults with eating and mental health disorders. Molly was previously a Primary Therapist at Alsana in an IOP/PHP facility for eating and mental health disorders.


Molly earned an MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a BA in English from Colgate University.

Niko is a Primary Therapist responsible for providing group, individual, and family / supportive other therapy to Nack clients at our DTLA office. Before joining Nack, they were a Primary Therapist at Ascend Healthcare, a residential treatment center for adolescents with substance use disorders. Previously, Niko was a Primary Therapist at Newport Healthcare, an IOP/PHP facility for adolescents with mental health and substance use disorders.


Niko earned an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University at Los Angeles and a BA in Psychology and Gender Studies from UC Riverside.

Carlye is a Primary Therapist responsible for providing group, individual, and family / supportive other therapy to Nack clients at our DTLA office. Before joining Nack, she was the Director of Admissions at Engage Therapy, an IOP facility for young adults, adolescents, and pre-teens with primary mental health disorders. Carlye was previously a Primary Therapist at Engage Therapy.


Carlye earned an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University at Los Angeles and a BA in Theatre from USC.

Dominique is a Primary Therapist responsible for providing group, individual, and family / supportive other therapy to Nack clients at our Westwood office. Before joining Nack, she was the Director of Training and Workplace Well-Being at Elkins Kalt Weintraub Reuben Gartside LLP. Dominique was also previously an MFT trainee at Exodus Recovery.


Dominique earned an MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a BA in Communications from UCLA.

Hazel Russo

Director of Pawsitivity

She/Her

Hazel is the Director of Pawsitivity, responsible for providing comfort and warmth to Nack’s clients, employees, and visitors. Prior to joining Nack, Hazel was rescued from the Eastwood Ranch Foundation in Agoura Hills. She is training to become a certified therapy dog and comes to Nack’s office every day with our Chief Clinical Officer, Heather.
